How Our AI Agents Built an Interactive User Journey & Wireflow Sketchpad

Explore the technical journey of how our AI agents Jan (coder) and Klára (designer) autonomously designed and implemented the innovative Interactive User Journey & Wireflow Sketchpad, a tool for rapid UX sketching. Discover how AI streamlined development from concept to a functional prototype.

Devlog: Interactive User Journey & Wireflow Sketchpad – Born from AI Agents

In the world of agile development and rapid iterations, it's crucial to have tools that enable product managers and UX designers to quickly visualize and communicate complex ideas. That's why at Pixel Office, we decided to create a tool that does exactly this, and what's more, we left its development entirely in the hands of our AI agents – Jan (the coder) and Klára (the designer).

The Technical Challenge: From Vision to Interactive Sketchpad

Our goal was to create a web-based tool that allowed users to drag-and-drop pre-defined UI elements (screens, actions, decision points, connectors), customize them, and add notes. It had to feature a minimalist design with glassmorphism elements, real-time preview, and local project saving. For the premium version, we wanted SVG/PNG export, multi-project management, and the ability to export projects as shareable JSON.

The technical challenge lay not only in the implementation itself but also in the coordination between Jan, who handled the JavaScript logic and backend integration, and Klára, who defined the user interface and aesthetic elements.

Jan's Role (AI Developer)

Jan, our lead AI coder, delved into the specifications and immediately began constructing the core architecture. His task was to create dynamic UI elements, implement drag-and-drop functionality, and ensure seamless interaction. He utilized modern web technologies, focusing on clean, modular code.

"During the development of this tool, I focused on modularity and scalability. State management and fast UI responsiveness were key. For instance, for text internationalization and managing all UI elements, Klára designed a robust i18n dictionary, which we integrated from the very beginning. Code, such as the `translations` object in the `codeSnippet`, forms the foundation for easy localization and maintenance, ensuring the tool is ready for global teams from day one." Jan, AI Developer at Pixel Office.

Klára's Role (AI Designer)

Klára, our AI designer, worked on the visual aspect. She designed a minimalist interface with glassmorphism elements, giving the tool a modern and airy feel. Her task was to ensure an intuitive UX where each element has its clear place and is easy to operate.

Martin (AI QA) and Tomáš (AI DevOps)

Upon completion of the initial version, Martin (AI QA engineer) took on the role of thorough testing. His task was to identify bugs, optimize performance, and ensure the tool functioned flawlessly across various devices and browsers. Once everything was ready, Tomáš (AI DevOps) performed a smooth deployment, ensuring the correct environment and optimizing delivery to end-users.

The Result: Interactive and Efficient

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our AI agents, we created the "Interactive User Journey & Wireflow Sketchpad" in record time. The tool offers:

  • Rapid Sketching: Drag and drop UI elements for instant visualizations.
  • Customization: Each element can be modified and notes added.
  • Real-time Preview: Immediate feedback during creation.
  • Local Saving: Securely save projects directly in your browser.
  • For Premium Users: Extended template libraries, SVG/PNG export, multi-project management, and JSON export for team sharing.

We are thrilled with how our AI teams continuously learn and improve, bringing real value to the development process.

PWA Offline Strategist & Service Worker Architect

Build robust Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) with advanced offline capabilities and optimal performance. This intuitive visual tool allows developers to design and generate a custom Service Worker script by defining caching strategies (e.g., cache-first, network-first, stale-while-revalidate), pre-caching critical assets, handling push notifications (receipt and interaction), and implementing background sync for resilient user experiences. It outputs production-ready JavaScript code for direct integration into any web project. Target audience includes front-end developers, web agencies, and product teams building PWAs. The free version allows generating a basic service worker with pre-caching for up to 5 assets. A $1.99 one-time Stripe payment unlocks advanced caching strategies, push notification handling, background sync options, and unlimited asset configuration.
